Visit our Help Center and learn how to make the most of ShipSmart for your international shipments.
ShipSmart is an international logistics platform where you can calculate shipping rates and taxes worldwide, create shipments with international carriers, and generate all the export documentation your packages need to be dispatched and delivered to other countries. Additionally, with ShipSmart, you can track the status of each shipment, create promotional campaigns with discounts on shipping and/or taxes for your customers, and schedule the pickup of boxes from your store’s distribution center or warehouse.
With ShipSmart integrated into your online store, the customer places products in the cart, enters the delivery zip code of a foreign country, and can see the shipping and tax costs for that order. This is possible because the ShipSmart integration allows freight calculation with international carriers and has an updated database of product categories, their respective international codes (HS code), and the tax rates each country charges for importing those types of items.
Each package shipped with ShipSmart generates an air waybill (AWB) number. Using this number in the ShipSmart panel, you can track the shipment status.
ShipSmart has very advantageous shipping contracts with carriers, allowing your store to make shipments with an excellent quality-price ratio.
The e-commerce platforms and marketplaces integrated with ShipSmart are Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Tiendanube, VTEX, WooCommerce (WordPress), VNDA by Olist, Magento, Wapstore, Magazord and Shopcouture.
The pickup is done by our carriers at the address your store registers as the Distribution Center or Warehouse and is sent to your customers at the address provided at the time of purchase.
To perform the pickup at the origin address, the air shipment, and the delivery at the destination address, ShipSmart partners with the largest international carriers in the world: DHL, FEDEX, and UPS. All shipments made with ShipSmart have the option to activate insurance that covers any possible damages or losses during shipping.
All international shipments made by ShipSmart’s partner carriers are by air.
